CASA ARCO CUCHILLEROS-BOTIN

Situated in one of the most emblematic streets in Madrid, Cuchilleros Street and close to the Arco Cuchilleros from the most famous Plaza in Madrid, La Plaza Mayor, this apartment offers you a truly authentic “madrileño experience”, with its great location.

Cuchilleros Street is located below the Plaza Mayor. It is a street where you can find bars and restaurants nestled in real caves, which provide a unique and evocative atmosphere, that accompanied by a traditional very good gastronomy, get transport you to another world, another time.

The entrance gate to the building is in Toledo Street number 16, close to the famous Toledo Arch from the Plaza Mayor, but the two balconies of the house are overlooking the Street Cuchilleros.

Just below the two balconies it is the Madrid’s oldest hairdresser-barbershop (since 1900), which retains the charm of those times, keeping objects as shaving basins (such the one that Don Quixote was used as a helmet).

And to the left of the two balconies is the beautiful building of the Botin Restaurant, the oldest Restaurant in the world, (since 1725), being its specialty the delicious roasted suckling pig and lamb Old Castilian style in a wood oven that dates from the date of its foundation.

Providing an ideal location, this a apartment with 84 square meters, is great for big groups of friends or families and is a great option to visiting the Spaniard capital city.

Living Area:
In the lounge there are 1 double bed sofa, 2 single bed sofas, coffee table, side table, lamps, TV, etc.
Its Dining Suite has a table with seating for 8, plus 4 chairs apart.

Bedrooms & Bathroom:
The master bedroom has 1 double bed, bedside tables, lamps, dresser, closet and 1 sleeper double sofa.
The second and the third bedrooms are toghether and are separated by a curtain. The second bedroom has 2 double beds, beside tables and lamps and third bedroom has 2 single bunk beds a closet with a balcony to Cuchilleros Street.

Each bed or bedsofa is provided with a bottom sheet, pillows and a duvet cover (duvet cover with comforter inside only in winter)

We also provide a set of two towels (one large and one small) per person.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, washbasin and WC.

kitchen:
Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the kitchen have also: Ceramic plate cooker and oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, whashing machine, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, toaster and a table with 6 chairs.

Besides this apartment also includes:

Intercom, A/C hot and cold, ironing equipment, hairdryer, bed linens and towels, Flat Screen TV, WiFi internet connection, phone landline.

The building has not an elevator, but don’t need it since it is on the ground / half 1st floor and just it is a few steps to the main door that you can see on the pictures.
